IMX219 on SE-SB01 board connected to Raspi Compute Module by nomura0813

I heard the rumor that raspistill and raspivid can be operated without crypt chip on Raspi camera V2.1 with IMX219. We have verified this information with SE-SB01 board from Soho Enterprise Ltd. and succeeded in operating those image capture applications.

SE-SB01 board has the synchronize signal assigned to #12 pin of FFC connector to realize the synchronized stereo camera or image stitching for 360 degree camera, etc.
Soho Enterprise Ltd. will deliver various IMX219 modules with XVS pin soon.

IU233 Short range shooting experiment report by nomura0813

We have got the experiment report of IU233 in short range shooting nearer than official focul distance of 30cm.
It seems the objects structure is clearly seen even 5cm distance case, it might be possible to use in the sensing or cognitive application.
Please refer the report in IU233 special page in this community site.
Please also kindly be noted that the images have the SW post processing in PC, not directly from the IU 233 nor the USB-EVB. (27/Mar./2018 Report has been updated. )

We have been trying to connect IMX219 Raspi camera to DragonBoard410c with the 96Boards camera HAT designed by Stream Technology Inc. and have succeeded in capturing RAW data. We want to see the image/video with gstreamer for the next step. Any advice from hackers in the world will be greatly appreciated.
